INTRODUCING
SPINAL FLOW TECHNIQUE

“A TECHNIQUE TO RELEASE STRESS AND LET HEALING HAPPEN. ”Dr. Carli Axford

There is an energetic Spinal Wave that ripples up and down the spine, connecting the brain to the body. This wave connects all 7 gateways of the spine and is responsible for the body's well being. In life we are exposed to a lot of stressors (physical, emotional, and chemical) that can get stored in our spine. These stressors cause blockages that impact our neural function and alignment, leading to pain, depression, anxiety, headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and more.

The Spinal flow technique is a gentle and safe technique that transforms people’s well-being by increasing the life force flow within, which then creates a better brain-body connection activating the innate intelligence of the body to heal itself.

As a Spinal Flow practitioner, I am trained to do a thorough assessment by examining and palpating the spine and body, connecting the blockages to your symptoms. I work to encourage ease of flow of the Spinal wave by making gentle contact with specific access points (there are 33 of them in total) on the cranium, spine, sacrum and coccyx. This prompts your spine and nervous system to connect with its inherent life force flow, or innate wisdom, that knows how to release the stress that causes spinal blockages.

As a recipient of the Spinal Flow Technique, you can feel a wide range of effects, from increased ease of breath, reduced stress, better sleep, decrease in pain, more flexibility and an overall better sense of well being.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
CranioSacral therapy is a holistic healing practice that uses very light touching to balance the craniosacral system in the body, which includes the bones, nerves, fluids, and connective tissues of the cranium and spinal area.

According to Upledger, craniosacral therapy is ideally suited for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, headaches, chronic middle ear infection, pain, and general health maintenance. It is recommended for autism, fibromyalgia, heart disease, osteoarthritis, pneumonia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic sinus infections, and gastroenteritis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach or small intestine).
It is also used with other therapies to treat chronic fatigue syndrome, back pain, and menstrual irregularity. In addition, other craniosacral practitioners have reported benefits for eye dysfunction, dyslexia, depression, motor coordination difficulties, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD), hyperactivity, colic, asthma in babies, floppy baby syndrome, whiplash, cerebral palsy, certain birth defects, and other central nervous system disorders.
